I have a new nemesis and its name is “Queue Pop.” I finally queued myself into some battlegrounds after I’ve had enough of fishing in Lake Elrendar. I was feeling good. Mana tea in hand, shoulders loose, mind sharp… and then nature called.
I stepped away for literally twenty seconds. Twenty. Seconds.
When I got back, the battleground portal disappeared. Just like that. No more battlefield, nothing indicating my enlistment was noted. The short window I had to accept the portal had closed on me, and I was still standing there with my fishing pole like an idiot.
I just stood in Eversong Woods, staring at the water, feeling completely betrayed.
Now I’m back to casting my line again because we’re still broke and I refuse to be the reason we can’t afford enchantments this week. The cycle continues.
