I still don’t have a house of my own.
I keep telling myself that as soon as I get a few more Conquest pieces I’ll look into it, but we both know that’s a lie. Right now I’m still sleeping on Abeke’s couch in whatever temporary quarters she claimed near the new battlefront.
It’s… fine. For now.
She leaves her demon blades all over the floor and I keep tripping over them. It’s like a demon’s laundry hamper exploded up in here. Like the aftermath of a raid boss. Glaives leaning against every wall like they’re standing guard. Why won’t she sell this shit? We need the gold. Random bits of armor and half-eaten fel-tainted jerky scattered across the floor, suspicious glowing green stains on the couch that I’m choosing to believe are just spilled mana tea, and I swear the pile of “mystery stuff” in the corner hissed at me last night. Part of me wants to pick up these outfits off the floor and hang them up by order of color, and fix these books so they’re somewhat straight… should we reorganize them by size or by color? Hmm. I prefer not to be surrounded by trash, but I’m dodging blades and unidentified substances like it’s a new battleground mechanic.
Honestly it’s nice having her close. Even if she laughs at me every time I come back from a Battleground looking like I lost a fight with a lawnmower.
She’s been grinding for Conquest too. I saw her gear earlier and of course she’s already got more Gladiator pieces than me. She’s always been the one who just does things while I sit here second-guessing every upgrade choice like an idiot. What if I buy the wrong thing?!
Tonight I’m writing her a letter before I pass out. She’s probably out devouring souls or whatever Demon Hunters do at 3 a.m.

Yesterday was rough. Got outhealed by two geared Disc priests in rated BGs. One undead skeleton named Zhuljul and some Haranir named Razor. Their numbers were disgusting. I spent half the match staring at their gear like a jealous ex. It was to be expected but I can’t get over it. They might be Voidweaver too hmmm.. did I go the wrong route?
I’m still rocking mostly Honor gear with a few Thalassian upgrades. Slowly getting there. How’s your Conquest grind going?
Please stop leaving your weapons in the middle of the room. I almost got impaled getting water at 2 a.m. Again.
